In 1999 Stephan won the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award and in 2001 published "A Very Public Offering", a non-fiction business book detailing his experience at theglobe.com. Before founding the company, Stephan attended Cornell University where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Stephan grew up in Switzerland and the United Kingdom before attending college in the United States. Beyond his duties at the Actarus Funds, Stephan sits on the board of the Heineman Foundation, based in New York, and on the board of it's sister organization the Heineman-Stiftung, based in Berlin. The aims of the foundations are to give financial support to educational, artistic, cause based and scientific non-profit institutions. Stephan resides in Los Angeles.

Marcelo Loureiro

Loureiro is the Founder and CEO at Spinlister. As the CEO, he is responsible for the overall direction of the company, securing strategic partnerships, raising funding and elevating the brand. Before serving as its CEO, Marcelo was an angel investor in the company and after a year he purchased the company from its original founders to revamp the service and keep the business growing. A serial entrepreneur by nature, Loureiro was part of the founding team of Sagatiba, Inc., a Brazilian liquor company that was sold in 2011 to Campari. At Sagatiba, he oversaw the sales and marketing of the new spirit, Cachaca, in the United States. Prior to that, he created the Brazilian clothing company Mandi.net that was sold to the holding company that distribute Calvin Klein in Brazil in 2005.
