Arcara was ultimately approached by Random House Publishing to re-launch and lead the business as Random House Custom Media. Arcara was also a co-founder of UGO Networks, which ultimately consisted of over 500 independent affiliate web publishers reaching over 15 million users a month and became one of the nation's largest 18 to 34 male-targeted online entertainment content networks. The UGO founding team was among those pioneering the concept of an online ad-supported publishing network. Arcara served as UGO's Executive Vice President and led multiple operating functions including affiliate network development, sales, and marketing. UGO was purchased by Hearst Corporation in 2006 for approximately $100 million. In 1992, Arcara formed DJA Media, Inc., which focused on turning around underperforming radio stations by improving product and sales. In 1996, DJA Media formed Radio Enterprise, Inc., a joint venture with Clear Channel Communications, through which Clear Channel provided financing to allow Radio Enterprise to expand to a total of four stations under Arcara's leadership. Radio Enterprise was sold to Clear Channel in 1998 after more than doubling its asset value at the peak of government-deregulated consolidation. Arcara is a member of New York Angels, one of the country's leading angel investor organizations, as well as Harvard Business School Angels. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder, where he earned a BA in Philosophy, and holds his MBA from Harvard Business School.

Prior to joining Sapphire Ventures, Steve was a managing director in technology investment banking at Deutsche Bank, UBS and Jefferies, where he led more than 100 financings and M&A transactions. Konstantin Othmer is a Co-Founder and Board Member at CloudCar. Konstantin was the Founder and CEO of Core Mobility. Before co-founding Core Mobility, he was the founding CEO of ePeople, a collaborative CRM application software company, which has raised $70M from Redpoint Ventures, Menlo Ventures and Integral Capital. Jon is credited with launching interactive TV in the US with shows like Deal or no Deal and 1 vs. 100 and with creating some of the first live, multi-platform game formats for networks like BET and TBS. He also produced games that were successful on multiple platforms including Xbox, online, and mobile and sold and produced some of the first online web series. Jon served as senior director of business development & strategic partnerships at AT&T Wireless, establishing the first phase of messaging and mobile data. At AT&T Jon ran the mobile content business and mobile marketing where he established the first mobile marketing campaigns with major brands and led the youth marketing team responsible for tracking and implementing new applications and business models Early in his career Jon was at Bertelsmann, where he helped to create BMG’s global digital strategy and held multiple executive positions with other Bertelsmann divisions in New York, Hong Kong and Tokyo. Jon has served on the board of NATPE, the Producer’s Guild and was a founding member of the Mobile Marketing Association. He holds a degree from Durham University and is fluent in French, Spanish and Mandarin.
