She also teaches for NSF’s I-Corps program. Kerry was previously CEO at DreamIt, a top-ten US startup accelerator and VC fund, with HealthTech, EdTech, Minority & Women-focused programs. She was the founder of Holiday Golightly, a group travel service for women, and held VP positions at AllRecipes, Jobster, Classmates and LexisNexis. Kerry holds an MBA from HBS and a BA from Duke.

Over the past decade he has worked with some of the world's largest companies and most admired software developers. He loves to program computers and, as part of his role as CTO of InfoEther, Inc., spends much of his time solving hard problems for customers in the Ruby language. He is co-organizer of RubyConf and RailsConf and author or co-author of a number of popular software books, including ''The Passionate Programmer: Creating a Remarkable Career in Software Development'' and the upcoming ''Rails 3 Recipes''.

He worked with JustBooks as Head of marketing & web channel operations. During his stint at JustBooks, the company grew 12x in 5 years. Before JustBooks, he worked at Emuzed (acquired by KKR,Sequoia now called Aricent) for 4 years in the mobile video/image codecs space. He is passionate about startups who use technology to solve problems at scale, and has made early-stage investments in startups. He is passionate about working at the crossroads of technology and startups. He is an ardent admirer of Sam Altman, YCombinator, and his ideas on startups.
